Project managers have to take account of all the ongoing projects in a company. Project managers have the responsibility for planning, budgeting, and monitoring the project status. Preparing the proposal 

The first step for starting the project, a project manager has to plan the timeline, budget, and structure of a project. The proposal you are preparing should be accurate as it should meet the targets, goals, and expectations. Planning can assist the project manager to plan finances, delegating duties. 

Team Building 

For the completion of any work, you need people. The project manager has to assemble the team by distributing various tasks and timelines. the project manager has to check the status of his team members on regular basis and assist them whenever required. 

Track Improvement 

To complete the project at a specific time the project manager has to monitor the progress of the project regularly so that he can help the team if the project is running behind the schedule. 

Problem management

Several issues can occur during the project in which team members have to discuss the situation with the project manager. Sometimes budget gets exceeded or we missed the deadline in that case the project manager is the only person who can resolve the issue by his knowledge of expertise.

Documentation
